Dr Wael Madkour is a Consultant in Fertility Medicine and Reproductive Endocrinology at Medcare Women and Children Hospital and HealthPlus Fertility Dubai. He is also the Medical Director at HealthPlus Fertility Dubai as well as a Professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Ain Shams University in Egypt.
He completed his primary medical degree at Ain Shams University, Egypt in 1990 and later completed a MD at the same university in 1998.
After qualifying, he moved to the UK to train in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at a number of the UKs top teaching hospitals in the NHS. He was awarded a Membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists 2000. He also undertook a Clinical Fellowship in the Assisted Conception Unit at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, graduating in 2003.
Dr Madkour specialises in assisted reproductive techniques, including IVF and has special interests in gynaecological endoscopy.
Dr Madkour holds professional memberships with the British Fertility Society, the European Society for Human Reproduction & Embryology, the Edinburgh Obstetric Society and the Emirates Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society.
