Dr Vinod Mullassery
Oncology
About
Dr Mullassery earned his MD in 1999 and went on to undertake oncology training at University College Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. He later undertook a post-CCT fellowship in contemporary radiation therapies at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. In 2013, he was awarded the American Brachytherapy Society HDR Scholarship Award. He has also been a visiting brachytherapy fellow at the Universities of Leuven, Belgium, and Los Angeles, California.
Dr Mullassery is a dedicated educator who has been a Royal College Tutor as well as the Postgraduate Faculty Lead at Guy's Hospital. In addition, he was the Deputy Firm Head at GKT Medical School. He is also involved in research and now works as the Principal Investigator on many clinical trials. His research interests include the use of novel radiation techniques to treat prostate cancer and oligometastatic disease.
