About Dr Vanessa Estall
Dr Estall is a radiation oncologist and an active member of a multidisciplinary cancer care team that coordinates care for people with cancer. They are an empathetic, experienced clinician, with a focus on evidence-based practice. Dr Estall completed specialist Radiation Oncology training in Australia and a Research Fellowship at Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge UK. Their work assessed the highly precise and novel radiation treatment for skull base tumours. Dr Estall has worked in large treatment centres gaining specialist skills in stereotactic radiosurgery, Skin/Melanoma, Central Nervous System (CNS), Head and Neck, and Lung cancers and plus palliative care radiotherapy. They are active in research, teaching, quality assurance, governance, and leadership. Dr Estall has led multiple multidisciplinary clinical teams and is a clinical supervisor in the training of future radiation oncologists.
