About
Mr. Wiggins completed his surgical training in London, followed by a prestigious fellowship in bariatric surgery at the internationally renowned Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, a recognised centre of excellence for bariatric surgery. His extensive experience spans upper gastrointestinal and general surgery, making him a trusted expert in treating a wide range of benign conditions.
In addition to his clinical practice, Mr. Wiggins is the Clinical Service Lead for the Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery Department at Heartlands Hospital, Univesity Hospitals Birmingham. He is dedicated to medical education and is a Surgical Tutor with the Royal College of Surgeons. His commitment to advancing surgical knowledge extends to his research, with over 50 published articles and a PhD from Imperial College London, focusing on breath testing for early diagnosis of upper gastrointestinal diseases.
