Dr Tiffy George Roy is an experienced Medical Speech Language Pathologist at American Hospital Dubai with over 12 years of experience in the field of speech therapy. She completed her Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Mysore, India, in 2010. She began working in hospitals and medical clinics in both India and the UAE, including Provita International Medical Center in Abu Dhabi and Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital in Dubai before joining American Hospital Dubai in 2022.
Dr Roy’s experience spans a wide spectrum of medical settings, including acute care, medical, ICU, and rehabilitation services. One of her primary areas of expertise lies in working with both paediatric and adult populations, particularly in the realm of dysphagia and feeding issues. Dr Roy sees patients with various conditions, including: brain damage, stroke, seizures, as well as patients with chronic diseases that impact swallowing and speech. In paediatrics, Dr Roy has worked with patients of all age groups, addressing several challenges associated with genetic disorders, developmental disorders, and feeding aversions.
