About Mr Thomas Hester
Mr Thomas Hester is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with extensive expertise in treating and managing foot and ankle conditions, including ankle fractures, ligament injuries, cartilage damage, heel pain, and sports injuries. He holds private appointments at London Bridge Hospital and Harley Street Specialist Hospitals. He gained his medical degree from the University of London, followed by his master's degree from the University of Brighton. He then completed orthopaedic training in South East London and obtained a fellowship with the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, where he gained expertise and experience in complex foot and ankle injuries. He has also completed fellowships in Toronto, Calgary, and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals in London. He then became a consultant at Kings College Hospital and has since been actively involved in the medical teaching of undergraduate medical students. In addition to his clinical work, Mr Hester is involved in research and has published his work in a number of medical journals. He has also developed an app called "Surgical Instruments," as well as an online training programme. Additionally, he was a member of the Broken Earth Medical Mission surgical team in Guatemala, a non-profit organisation that provides international medical help.
