Dr. Teena Mathew undertook her initial medical training at the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore, from where she obtained her Masters (MD) and Diploma (DDVL) in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy. She has previously worked as a Consultant Dermatologist at the Methodist Hospital, Nadiad, Gujarat and Nirmala Hospital, Calicut and as a Specialist Dermatologist in Dubai at Zulekha Hospital.
Dr. Mathew is active in research and has published in the internationally-renowned peer-reviewed Australasian Journal of Dermatology and presented her work at various national dermatology conferences. Her thesis on validation of newer diagnostic modalities in the rare disease of pemphigus was one of the earliest studies in the field.
Dr. Mathew is a life member of the Indian Association of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy and a member of CSI (Cosmetology Society of India) and International Society of Dermatology.
