Mr Singh graduated from the University of the West Indies and completed his basic surgical training at the Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust. He subsequently undertook specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery within the Southwest London training programme. During his training, he completed a travelling fellowship in hand surgery in India and later undertook advanced fellowships in upper limb and microvascular surgery in Australia, as well as a trauma fellowship at Brighton Major Trauma Centre.

He has extensive surgical experience, having performed thousands of procedures, particularly in upper limb surgery. In addition to his clinical work, he is involved in education and training, supervising trainees and teaching medical students. He also contributes to the development of upper limb services within his NHS Trust.
