Dr. med. Sven Pede ist Facharzt für Orthopädie. Seine medizinische Ausbildung absolvierte er an der Christian-Albrechts-Universität in Kiel. Im Oktober 1991 promovierte er dort zum Thema "Auswirkungen des Koronarsportes auf die periphere Durchblutung". Dr. med. Pede ist qualifiziert in den Bereichen Orthopädie, Kinderorthopädie, Sportmedizin, Chirotherapie, Physikalische Therapie und Akupunktur. Nach seinem Studium sammelte er praktische Erfahrungen am Friedrich-Ebert-Krankenhaus Neumünster in den Bereichen Gefäßchirurgie, Allgemeinchirurgie und Unfallchirurgie. Es folgte eine Anstellung als wissenschaftlicher Assistent an der HNO-Universitätsklinik der Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel. Anschließend war er als wissenschaftlicher Assistent an der Orthopädischen Universitätsklinik der Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel tätig. Dr. med. Pede spricht fließend Englisch.
