He has a special interest in a wide range of surgical procedures. His expertise includes laparoscopic surgery for colorectal tumours, hernias, and gallbladder conditions. Dr Alturkistani is also highly skilled in performing surgeries for ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, and in treating anal and pilonidal fistulas, as well as haemorrhoids, using both laser and conventional surgical techniques.
