With over 20 years of clinical experience, Professor Sidhu has performed more than 10,000 endocrine surgical procedures and continues to undertake approximately 600 operations annually. He is extensively trained in General Surgery and abdominal surgery, with specialised focus as a Surgical Endocrinologist in the management of thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disorders.
Professor Sidhu holds admitting privileges at Royal North Shore Hospital, Hornsby Hospital, and the Sydney Adventist Hospital. His practice encompasses a wide range of endocrine surgical procedures, including open and minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery, laparoscopic and retroperitoneal adrenalectomy, and surgery for salivary gland conditions. His expertise has earned him recognition as one of the leading Endocrine Surgeons in Australia, the USA, and Europe.
In addition to his clinical practice, Professor Sidhu is actively engaged in research, focusing on clinical outcomes in endocrine surgery and translational science projects aimed at understanding the pathophysiology of endocrine cancers. He has contributed over 150 peer-reviewed publications and serves on the editorial boards of prestigious medical journals such as the Oncologist and the Annals of Surgery. He also holds the esteemed position of President of the Australian and New Zealand Endocrine Surgeons association.
