About Mr Soo Park
Dr. Soo Park is a highly experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist with a special interest in cataract surgery, medical retina, and uveitis. He has earned significant recognition in his field, receiving prestigious awards such as the Medicine Publishing Company/Glaxo Welcome Medical Fellowship Award and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Annual Congress prize for the best poster presentation. Additionally, he has secured grants from notable institutions including Alcon Research and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Currently, Dr. Park serves as a consultant at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital and University Hospital Hairmyres, where he leads the Uveitis department. His role extends to academia as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, where he educates medical students and trainee ophthalmologists in general ophthalmology and cataract surgery.
