About Dr Sonal Singh
Dr Sonal Singh is an experienced Consultant Dermatologist known for her holistic and patient-centred approach. She graduated in 1996 and completed her postgraduation in Dermatology and Venereology in 2002, during which she conducted a thesis on urticaria. Early in her career, she gained valuable experience at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences until 2003. Her UK journey began in 2003, working in Dermatology and Genito-Urinary Medicine at busy institutions like University College London Hospital and Barnet General Hospital. Dr Singh further broadened her expertise by training as a GP in Hereford, earning the MRCGP, a Diploma in Geriatric Medicine, and DFRSH qualifications, which enriched her clinical skills. From 2006 onwards, she worked in various West Midlands hospitals and achieved the Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration in Dermatology. Since 2010, Dr Singh has served as a Consultant Dermatologist in Hereford, Worcester, and Bromsgrove, while primarily engaging in private practice. She maintains strong ties with Worcestershire Hospital, regularly participating in multidisciplinary meetings, and also consults at Yeovil Hospital. With a keen interest in aesthetic dermatology and primary care, Dr Singh frequently presents papers at national conferences, publishes in peer-reviewed journals, and provides expert opinions on dermatological practice and legal cases. Dr Singh enjoys playing cricket and doing fitsteps as well as bodycombat, and she does gardening to relax.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
