Dr. Sangaraju is an experienced interventional cardiologist based at the Peninsula Heart Clinic and University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. After graduating from the highly respected Christian Medical College in Vellore, he went on to complete postgraduate training in hospitals across the UK.
He then undertook specialty training in the South West Peninsula deanery, with a focus on percutaneous coronary intervention/stenting and transcatheter aortic valve implant (TAVI).
He is particularly skilled in managing coronary artery disease and performing interventions such as radial (wrist) artery stenting and complex TAVI procedures, all with excellent outcomes.
As Lead for Clinical Governance in Cardiology, he takes a special interest in quality assurance and patient safety measures within his department.
In addition to presenting at national and international conferences, Dr. Sangaraju has also published research papers within his field. He remains actively involved in cardiac research and ensures to stay abreast of new developments.
