About Dr Dr Simon Bazaadut
Dr Simon Bazaadut is a Consultant General, Breast and Endocrine Surgeon based in Tasmania at Launceston General Hospital. Dr Bazaadut completed his medical degree at the University of Ghana, Ghana in 2004 before moving to Australia and obtaining his AMC Certificate from the Australian Medical Council in 2009. He undertook his Surgical Registrar at Austin Health from 2012 to 2014 before continuing at Monash Health until 2019. He was awarded his Fellowship in General Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2020. After qualifying as a General Surgeon, Dr Bazaadut completed a year-long surgical fellowship in general, breast and endocrine surgery at Launceston General Hospital, followed by another fellowship in endocrine and upper GI surgery at The Northern Hospital. He began practicing as a Consultant at Launceston General Hospital in February 2022.
