About

Dr Simmy Kaur is an experienced, award-winning GP and the founder of The Nine Clinic - private general practice. She has many years of experience in the private healthcare sector on Harley Street.

Dr Kaur graduated as a doctor from the University of Liverpool Medical School. She carried out all of her medical jobs at various world-renowned London teaching hospitals, gaining a wealth of experience. She trained to become a GP at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead.

Dr Kaur has also worked in NHS GP practices in the Primrose Hill, Hampstead and Marylebone areas which helped her to gain a diverse range of general practice experience. She also provides her expert opinion for brands and media.

Dr Kaur has a wide range of experience to include general medicine, surgery, women’s health, men’s health, paediatrics, acute medicine and mental health. She has an interest in preventative medicine, health optimisation, wellness, mindfulness and nutrition.

Outside of general practice, Dr Kaur enjoys Contemporary Art and Wellness. She is a patron of the Serpentine Gallery and loves incorporating wellness into her day to day life to include exercise and meditation.

'I love how my job allows me to work with people, and to take a holistic approach to medicine. It’s a real privilege to be able to empower patients on their healthcare journey. I really do believe that everything is connected. A person’s social wellbeing and mental health are equally as important as their medical health.’

“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
