Dr Shiba Sinha is an Australian and British-trained Specialist Plastic Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in breast reconstruction, skin cancer surgery, and aesthetic breast and body procedures. Dr Sinha obtained her medical degree and a BSc in Clinical Sciences from the University of Leeds. She was subsequently selected for a highly competitive subspecialty fellowship in microsurgical breast reconstruction at Queen Victoria Hospital in the UK, one of the largest and most respected centres for breast reconstruction in Europe.
Her clinical practice includes complex microsurgical breast reconstruction, oncoplastic breast surgery, skin cancer excision and reconstruction, as well as aesthetic breast and body surgery. She has published and presented internationally in the fields of breast reconstruction and skin cancer. Her current research interests focus on patient-reported outcome measures and enhanced recovery pathways in breast surgery.
Dr Sinha holds Visiting Medical Officer appointments at Monash Health and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, where she works within dedicated multidisciplinary teams managing breast and skin cancer. She believes that the best surgical outcomes are achieved through collaborative care, clear communication, and personalised treatment planning tailored to each individual’s goals and needs.
