Dr. Sherif Aboelezz is a Specialist Periodontist and Implantologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of periodontal disease and advanced implant dentistry. He is an Instructor Periodontist and Implantologist at Marina Dental Center in Dubai accredited from Toronto University, Canada. Dr Aboelezz also practises at Mourany Orthodontic Center in Al Ain and Skin House Medical Center in Abu Dhabi
He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the Faculty of Dentistry, Mansoura University in 2008, before completing a Master’s degree in Oral Medicine and Periodontology in 2017. To further refine his expertise in implant dentistry, Dr Aboelezz completed an advanced Implant Dental Study Consortium programme accredited by the American Dental Association, in collaboration with the University of Toronto, between 2022 and 2023.
Dr Aboelezz has undertaken extensive postgraduate training, including advanced courses in periodontology and implantology, as well as specialist training in maxillary sinus lifting techniques.
His clinical experience spans both public and private sectors. From 2010 to 2020, he worked within the Ministry of Health in Egypt alongside running his own private practice, El Hayah Dental Clinic. Since 2020, he has been practising in the UAE, currently working at Mourany Orthodontic Center in Al Ain and Marina Dental Center in Dubai.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Aboelezz is actively involved in education and training. He serves as an instructor in periodontology and implantology for the Implant Dental Study Consortium (ID-SC) courses in Dubai, contributing to the development of dental professionals in advanced surgical and restorative techniques.
Dr Aboelezz’s practice focuses on the prevention and treatment of gum disease, dental implant placement, and advanced periodontal procedures, with an emphasis on precision, patient education, and achieving predictable, long-lasting outcomes.
