About Dr Shashi Prasad
Dr Shashi Prasad is an advanced menopause specialist at the Online Menopause Centre. She has a wealth of experience and is passionate about providing the highest quality evidence-based treatments for her patients. She combines HRT with lifestyle interventions to change the lives of her patients and enable them to feel their best. She is compassionate and caring and listens carefully to her patients before creating a personalised treatment plan for her. Her special interests are as follows: • Regulated HRT • Compounded bio-identical HRT • Mood disorders during menopause • Weight gain in midlife • Lifestyle medicine Dr Prasad gained her medical degree from Patna Medical College in 2003. She is a BMS accredited advanced menopause specialist and has trained at one of the leading menopause units in the UK. She also trained in compounded bio-identical HRT at the renowned Marion Gluck Clinic in London. She has gained DRCOG and DRSRH from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and MRCGP from the Royal College of General Practitioners. She is also a Diplomate of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine. Prior to her current role, Dr Prasad worked in the NHS for many years in the area of women's hormonal health and wellness.
