Mr Shakeeb Khan
General Surgery
About
Mr Khan completed his medical degree in India in 2002. He went on to complete basic surgical training in Yorkshire, during which he undertook surgical research and was awarded an MD. He subsequently pursued higher surgical training in the Midlands, specialising in both general surgery and organ transplantation. In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Khan is actively involved in medical education and currently serves as the lead for Year 5 medical students.
His clinical interests include hernia surgery (including procedures performed under local anaesthetic), renal transplantation, and vascular access surgery. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the British Transplant Society, the British Hernia Society, and the Medical Protection Society.
