He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and has additional certifications in laparoscopic, endoscopic, and robotic surgery, including Da Vinci surgical training.
His clinical practice includes the treatment of simple and complex hernias through laparoscopic and open techniques, gallbladder disease, skin and soft tissue conditions, as well as weight loss surgery. He has received multiple awards for his contributions to teaching and academia, and regularly organises laparoscopic skills workshops while also presenting at regional and international surgical conferences.
