Dr. Sarah Hughes is the resident facial aesthetics and injectables clinician at The Modern Dentist. With a background in dentistry and 16 years of expertise in facial aesthetics, she brings a wealth of experience to the team. Specialising in softening wrinkles and treating chronic jaw and neck muscle pain, Dr. Hughes is known for her kind, approachable nature and her focus on helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals with natural, subtle results.
Graduating with honours from Dublin Dental School & Hospital, Trinity College Dublin in 2005, Dr. Hughes is also a member of the College of General Dentistry. In addition to her work at The Modern Dentist, she co-owns and runs O’Connors Dental with her husband, Dermot, a family practice in South London. Though she has had to pause her clinical dentistry due to a back condition, she has used the time to expand her aesthetic practice, continuing to provide evidence-based, safe treatments that enhance her patients’ natural beauty.
