About Dr Dr Sarah Condron
Dr Sarah Condron is an Australian-trained Paediatric Surgeon at Offspring Health, also with consultant appointments at Northern Hospital, Angliss Hospital, Cabrini Hospital, Ramsay Health and Epworth Private Hospital.She completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 1999, followed by her specialist paediatric surgical training at hospitals across Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne, including Princess Margaret Hospital, Monash Hospital, Mater Hospital and the Royal Children's Hospital. She later completed her fellowship and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She first began practicing as a Paediatric Surgeon at Bendigo, followed by Northern Hospital and became Head of Paediatric Surgery at Northern Hospital in 2016. In 2012, Dr Condron established clinical resources for paediatric urological conditions at Monash Children's Hospital with the help of a grant she received from the Paediatric Clinical Network.Dr Condron particularly enjoys looking after parents and their children with potential surgical problems. She has clinical interests in the following areas:Hernia (including umbilical, inguinal and femoral)Undescended testesScrotal painAbdominal painRemoval of lumps and lesions (including granulomas, skin tags and dermoid cysts)Pilonidal sinusIngrown toenailsDr Condron is also passionate about avoiding unnecessary surgery in children and works closely with parents to ensure they have enough accurate information to make an informed decision.
