About Mr Samuel Mackenzie
Mr Samuel Mackenzie is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, with a specialist focus on shoulder and elbow surgery as well as trauma care. He completed his medical and orthopaedic training in Edinburgh, where he was also awarded an MD for his research in the field. Further honing his expertise, he undertook advanced fellowships at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary and the prestigious Sydney Shoulder Institute. In his private practice at Spire Edinburgh Hospitals Murrayfield and Shawfair Park, he treats a wide range of conditions, including sports injuries, degenerative shoulder disorders, and trauma-related issues. Mr Mackenzie brings a unique, empathetic perspective to his patients, ensuring they are fully informed about their condition and treatment options. His patient-centred approach focuses on creating precise care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
