Additionally, she made significant contributions as a paediatric diabetologist at the Sudan Childhood Diabetes Centre (SCDC) in Khartoum from 2019 to 2023.

She remains actively involved in various professional organisations, including the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE), the International Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD), and several others.
