She earned her MBBS from Omdurman Islamic University, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, in 2009. In 2020, she completed her clinical MD in Ophthalmology through the Sudan Medical Specialisation Board (SMSB).
Dr Abdalla provides care for a wide range of ophthalmic conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. She is experienced in performing cataract surgery and a variety of minor ophthalmic procedures such as foreign body removal, chalazion excision, abscess evacuation, eyelid surgery, and corneal and scleral suturing.
She routinely uses advanced diagnostic techniques such as optical coherence tomography (OCT), fluorescein angiography, and ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) to support clinical decision-making.
In addition to clinical duties, Dr Abdalla engages in initiatives to promote eye health, emphasising the importance of regular eye examinations and early intervention to reduce preventable vision loss. She currently practices at New Look Medical Center in Al Yahar, providing comprehensive ophthalmic services to patients across the region.
