Dr Saeed Al Thani is a consultant orthopaedic specialist and the founder of Orthocure Medical Center. He specialises in the treatment of arthritis in patients of any age.
Dr Al Thani gained his medical qualification in 1993 from King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia before undertaking fellowships in hand, sport medicine/arthroscopy and joint reconstruction in Toronto, Canada. He achieved his FRCSC with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Canada, in 2004.
Dr Al Thani is experienced in arthroscopy, sports medicine, and joint reconstruction. He is able to treat a wide range of conditions, from early cartilage injury to full joint replacement. He is an expert in his field and delivers lectures at both national and international forums. Through his scientific and clinical research, he has developed expertise in a number of novel techniques to treat shoulder, elbow, and knee conditions. He is also the president of Emirates Orthopedic Society, the chairperson of the UAE AO Chapter, and a member of the Arab Board orthopaedic Examination Committee.
Prior to founding Orthocure Medical Center, Dr Al Thani worked at a number of clinics, including Medcare Orthopaedics and Spine Hospital. He has also previously worked at Adam Vital Hospital and Mediclinic City Hospital.
Dr Al Thani speaks English and Arabic and consults between Saturday and Thursday 9:00 am - 18:00 pm.
