Nach ihrem Abschluss als Industriekauffrau entschied sie sich für ein Studium der Psychologie an der Universität des Saarlandes, wo sie den Master of Science (M.Sc. Psych) erlangte. Während ihres Studiums lag ihr Fokus auf der Erforschung von Hirnprozessen, was sie zu einer Tätigkeit als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl der Kognitiven Neuropsychologie der Universität des Saarlandes führte. Parallel dazu sammelte sie praktische Erfahrung in der angewandten experimentellen Psychologie beim Flugmedizinischen Dienst der Bundeswehr. Ihre Expertise teilte sie auch als Autorin für die Zeitschrift "National Geographic" in einer Beitragsserie über den menschlichen Intelligenzquotienten. Obwohl ihr Weg zunächst in Richtung Forschung wies, entdeckte Frau Coulson ihre wahre Berufung in der direkten Arbeit mit Menschen. Sie absolvierte ihre Ausbildung zur Psychologischen Psychotherapeutin und widmet sich seitdem mit großem Engagement der Unterstützung ihrer Klienten bei der Bewältigung verschiedenster Herausforderungen.
