About
Dr Roger Moukarbel is a Consultant Head and Neck Surgeon in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai. He is also a Professor of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and Academic Chairperson at the University of Balamand. He previously served as a faculty member at the American University of Beirut Medical Center.
He is triple fellowship trained in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology, Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery, and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His expertise includes facial cosmetic surgery, rhinoplasty, septoplasty, otoplasty, facelift, injectables, skin malignancies, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, malignant and benign head and neck tumours, microvascular free tissue transfer, facial reconstructive surgery, facial paralysis, and facial fractures.
Dr Moukarbel has published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences. He is a reviewer for several medical journals including Head and Neck and Frontiers in Oncology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Head and Neck Society, and the Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and a faculty surgeon with the AO Foundation (Craniomaxillofacial). He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
He speaks Arabic, English, and French.
