About Dr Richard Moore
Mr. Richard Moore is a Clinical Academic and Consultant Oral Surgeon based in Leeds, UK. Mr. Moore completed his Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery at the University of Birmingham in 2002. He became a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2005 and holds a Fellowship in Dental Surgery and with the Faculty of Dental Trainers with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. In his current post, Mr Moore provides a full range of oral surgery and facial aesthetics, including conscious sedation. Treatments include dental implants, dental extractions including wisdom teeth using piezosurgery, pre-prosthetic surgery, bone grafting & guided bone regeneration, biopsy for intraoral pathology. He has special interests in managing medically complex patients and wisdom teeth. In addition to his clinical roles, Mr Moore has published numerous papers in impactful peer-reviewed journals and regularly speaks at international meetings in his field of expertise. He currently holds the position of Clinical Lecturer in Oral Surgery at the University of Leeds and is an Honorary Consultant Oral Surgeon as Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
