Dr Salama earned her Bachelor of Medicine from Cairo University, where she also completed her Master's degree and a PhD in Oncology, later becoming a Professor of Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine. She further honed her expertise by completing a fellowship in oncology treatment at the University of San Raffaele in Milan, Italy. Dr Salama is a member of the European Society of Oncology, the European Society of Haematology, and the Saudi Society for Oncology.
