About Prof Ramon Andrade De Mello
Professor Ramon Andrade De Mello is an experienced and knowledgeable Medical Oncologist. He is highly qualified, having obtained his MD in 2004 from the Federal University of Ceara, Brazil. He later completed his PhD in Molecular Oncology specialising in lung cancer, at the University of Porto, Portugal, and a Fellowship in Lung Cancer at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London. Professor De Mello has been an active researcher in both lung cancer and gastrointestinal cancer, and has published many papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has also authored book chapters and has presented papers at conferences worldwide. As a result of his renowned research and publications, he is asked to participate as a scientific reviewer for many reputable journals, including the Journal of Thoracic Oncology, Annals of Internal Medicine, Southern Medical Journal, Rare Tumours, Journal of Solid Tumours, and more. Professor De Mello is a member of several prestigious societies and professional organisations, including the European Society for Medical Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Brazilian Society of Clinical Oncology and Portuguese Society of Oncology.
