About
Dr Acharya graduated with honours from Guy's, Kings & St. Thomas Dental Institute in 2002. During her time there, she received the prestigious Newland Pedley Medal for Restorative Dentistry and the Jelf Medal for the best all-arounder dental student. Following this, she worked as a House Officer at Guys' Hospital and the West Kent Community Dental Service, where she gained expertise in all areas of dentistry.
Dr Acharya then worked at the Lupus Street Dental Practice while completing further orthodontic training at the Eastman Dental Hospital. In 2010, she became an orthodontic specialist and was awarded the 3M Unitek Prize for the best overall orthodontic student. Following this, Dr Acharya spent two years training at the Eastman Dental Hospital and Kingston Hospital, handling complex multi-disciplinary cases, and she received her Orthodontic Fellowship in 2012.
