About OA Dr. Omid Hosseiny
Dr. Omid Hosseiny ist Facharzt für Neurologie und behandelt seine PatientInnen im Ärztezentrum Währing im 18. Bezirk sowie in Klosterneuburg. Neben seinen Tätigkeiten in seinen Ordinationen leitet er als Oberarzt die Schlaganfallstation (Stroke Unit) und die Parkinson-Ambulanz im Krankenhaus Göttlicher Heiland in Wien. Ein wichtiger Schwerpunkt seiner Arbeit ist die Abklärung und Behandlung von neurodegenerativen Erkrankungen wie Parkinson und Demenz sowie von Beschwerden wie Tremor (Zittern), Schwindel und Gangunsicherheit, die Schlaganfall-Vorsorge und -Nachsorge und die Betreuung von Patienten mit Kopfschmerzen, Rückenschmerzen und Polyneuropathie. Durch seine langjährige Erfahrung weiß Dr. Hosseiny, dass bei neurologischen Erkrankungen wie z.B. Alzheimer-Demenz auch Angehörige oft in Sorge und Angst versetzt werden. Durch seine persönliche Betreuung und Unterstützung versucht Dr. Hosseiny sowohl seinen PatientInnen als auch den Personen in Ihrem Umfeld die Situation zu erleichtern und mit den verbunden Herausforderungen besser umzugehen.
