About Dr Olena Edwards-Skadowska
Dr Olena Edwards-Skadowska is a Psychotherapist, Wellbeing and Resilience Coach, and the Founding Director of London Trusted Therapy Harley Street. She trained in Counselling and Psychotherapy under Professor Del Lowenthal in London, following an international career as an Education Consultant. She has over 20 years of experience across voluntary organisations, private practice, a refugee centre, and NHS referral services. Before founding London Trusted Therapy Harley Street, she worked with Harley Therapy, Pregma UK and Kingston Women’s Centre, gaining extensive experience with diverse client groups and clinical presentations. Olena is trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist (PgDip) and a Relationship and Psychosexual Therapist (London Diploma). Her integrative training allows her to draw from multiple therapeutic approaches, including psychoanalytic, existential/phenomenological, person-centred, CBT, and the Gottman Method. Her clinical work is further informed by her academic background in linguistics (MA), philosophy (PhD), trauma training, relationship therapy training, and experience in ADHD- and ASD-informed therapy. Having lived and studied internationally, Olena has significant experience working with issues related to diversity, migration, and cultural integration. She works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationship difficulties, trauma, parenting challenges, self-esteem, workplace issues, cancer-related concerns, addiction, and abuse. She also has a clinical interest in supporting clients with adult ADHD and ASD and has substantial experience working with LGBTQ clients. She provides both short-term and long-term therapy. Olena is also a published author. Her children’s book Anxie the Hedgehog was published in 2024 and has been translated into five languages.
