Mr Neil Russell
General Surgery
About
Mr Russell's transplant work includes kidney, pancreas and intestinal/multivisceral transplants and he is the surgical lead for living donor kidney transplantation at Addenbrooke's. Through experience with intestinal transplantation, he performs repairs/reconstruction of complex abdominal wall hernias. He is heavily involved in the teaching of medical students and junior doctors, including trainee general surgeons. He examines for the Cambridge University exam board and is an Associate Lecturer at Cambridge University Medical School.
Outside of work, Neil enjoys spending time with family and playing golf with his border collie in tow.
