In addition, Dr Alband is noted for her work with the European Journal of Dermatology having served as the UK representative on the Residents’ Board of the European Journal of Dermatology. She has published in leading peer-reviewed journals, presented at national and international meetings, and received the British Association of Dermatologists’ prestigious Bristol Cup prize for her research on cutaneous GvHD.
A committed educator, Dr Alband holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Cambridge and regularly teaches and supervises dermatology trainees, nurses and medical students.
Known for her evidence-based practice, Dr Alband was nominated for the 'You Made a Difference; award at Cambridge University Hospitals, with patients particularly commending her exceptional care and empathetic approach.
