Dr Narges Mikaniki, is a board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and otolaryngologist with fellowship training in rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery. She earned her MD from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in 2011 and completed her head and neck surgery board certification at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2018. She subsequently completed a fellowship in facial plastic surgery at SBMU and an EAFPS rhinoplasty fellowship in Istanbul, Turkey. As well as this she holds European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS) board certification.
Dr Mikaniki’s clinical practice includes functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, otoplasty, neck procedures, endoscopic temporal lift, facial contouring, and reconstructive facial surgery. She also treats sinus and nasal conditions, including endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty, and allergy management, as well as paediatric ENT disorders, temporomandibular disorders, sleep apnea, and snoring. Additional expertise includes endoscopic tympanoplasty, facial trauma repair, and management of ear, throat, and head and neck conditions.
She previously served as an ENT surgeon and consultant at Erfan Niayesh Hospital in Tehran. Active in academic work, Dr Mikaniki has published research and presented at multiple international and national congresses, including the EAFPS annual meeting and Iranian International ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery conferences.
