About Dr Samantha Farag
Dr Samantha Farag is Consultant Chartered Psychologist with over 20 years of expertise in Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing & Performance. Dr Farag has worked as a Clinical Team Leader in the NHS and in a global leading Harley Street private practice. She is expertly focused on achieving long term wellbeing and a meaningful life for every individual across personal and professional domains whilst addressing any stressors or underlying mental health difficulties. Dr Farag has worked with a broad range of client including clients from the Big 4 and Magic Circle law firms, elite executives, as well as sports teams including McLaren, Premier League Football, National and International Rugby and National Rowing. Ultimately, Dr Farag is interested in helping individuals thrive whether that is in relation to the individual's self worth and performance; professional relationships in the workplace; or in personal relationships. All these components connect together to ensure wellbeing. Dr Farag was appointed as Course Director for two MSc programmes in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, an MSc in Child, Adolescent and Family Health, and has worked as a Senior Lecturer on doctoral programmes training future psychologists. She has a passion for service design having co-designed and implemented an NHS primary care service, and developed and directed an MSc CBT course at Goldsmiths, University of London. Dr Farag's main therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness therapies, Compassion Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is also trained in psychodynamic therapy. The therapy is adapted to the individual to meet their unique needs and goals. Dr Farag assesses and treats individuals and couples.
