He has been awarded Excellence Points for Quality of Care through his NHS work and won the prestigious Naughton Dunn Award in 2011. He continues to publish and present research nationally and internationally as a guest speaker, and he serves as a convener for the Exeter Hip Course, attracting orthopaedic surgeons from across Britain.
