About
Mr Treacy is vastly experienced and currently performs hundreds of hip resurfacings per year, in addition to other hip and knee procedures. He regularly gives lectures across the world discussing his vast experience in the treatment of the 'active patient' population. He is also particularly interested in young adults suffering from hip problems.
In 2008, he was recognised by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham for his outstanding contribution to Orthopaedics in the city. In 2010, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Birmingham and in 2013 was elected as Staff Governor to the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Foundation Trust.
