About Mr Richard Caesar
Mr. Richard Caesar trained in medicine at Cambridge University and then Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. He qualified in 1992 and then studied ophthalmic surgery in Oxford. He specialised in oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery with fellowship training in Oxford, and then further fellowship training in Melbourne, Australia. Mr. Caesar was appointed an NHS Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon to the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in September 2003. He has clinics in Cheltenham, Gloucester and Cirencester, and operates at Cheltenham, Tetbury and the Nuffield. Mr. Caesar is a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a founder member of the British Oculoplastic Surgeons Society. He prides himself in taking great care to meet his patients expectations, understanding that every patient's needs are different and he is able to tailor his treatment accordingly.
