Mr Pradeep Morar

Mr Paddy Morar has been a Consultant ENT Surgeon for over 20 years. He has practiced at BMI The Beardwood, Gisburne Park Hospitals and East Lancashire Hospitals Trust. He qualified from the University of Manchester Medical School in 1985 and trained in ENT in the Mersey Region. He went through extensive ENT Head and Neck Training in Liverpool and further advanced training with an appointment as Resident Head and Neck Fellow in Brisbane, Australia at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. Mr Morar was appointed Consultant in January 2000. He was awarded an MD by the University of Liverpool for his thesis looking at lower airway infections in children with tracheostomies - research work performed at the Alder Hey Children's Hospital Liverpool. Mr Morar takes an active management role at the Royal Blackburn Hospital sitting on various committees at the East Lancashire Hospitals Trust including Chair of the Medical Local Negotiating Committee for the trust. He has also served as Clinical Lead of Head and Neck ENT Services. In his spare time Mr Morar enjoys a variety of past-times including cycling, walking, reading and travel.
