About Mr Neil Rowson
Mr. Neil Rowson is a highly experienced ophthalmologist. He graduated from Leeds Medical School in 1982 and completed his ophthalmology training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and Birmingham Eye Hospital. Mr. Rowson furthered his expertise with specialist Fellowship posts in Oculoplastic, Lacrimal, and Orbital surgery at Moorfields and the Academic Medical Centre in Amsterdam. He took up his NHS position in 1997 and has since developed a thriving private practice. Mr. Rowson's private practice is renowned for its focus on small incision cataract surgery, oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery, as well as cosmetic lid surgery. His work is supported by a well-equipped clinic and a commitment to advanced surgical techniques. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, a member of the British Oculoplastic Surgical Society, and the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. Additionally, Mr. Rowson is a past Vice President of the Ophthalmology Section of the Royal Society of Medicine. His research interests include studying acquired lacrimal drainage obstruction in patients undergoing chemotherapy, reflecting his dedication to advancing knowledge and improving patient outcomes in the field of ophthalmology.
