Prof. Dr. Mysore Chandrashekar
About
Mr Chandrashekar graduated from Mysore University in 1989 and was awarded a Master's in surgery. They received their postgraduate qualification in Surgery by Bangalore University in 1992. They consolidated their surgical training on the higher surgical training programme of the Northern Deanery, Newcastle upon Tyne. Mr Chandrashekar was appointed to the Novel National Breast-oncoplastic fellowship in 2002. This was a “first of its kind”, a unique cross-speciality training programme conceived by the British Association of Plastic Surgeons and the British Association of Surgical Oncology and funded directly by the Department of Health. They are on the Specialist registry of the General Medical Council and are a member of the Association of Breast Surgeons, British Association of Surgical Oncology, European Society of Surgical Oncology, and the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, UK.
