He has a specialist interest in hip and knee surgery particualry revision and complex knee joint replacement surgery. His postgraduate surgical training took place in the South West Peninsula region, where he worked across several hospitals including North Devon District Hospital, Royal Cornwall Hospital, Derriford Hospital and Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, gaining experience in the internationally recognised Exeter Hip Unit and Exeter Knee Reconstruction Unit. He later completed specialist fellowship training in Australia, working in both Melbourne and Perth and gaining broad experience in hip and knee replacement surgery as well as keyhole (arthroscopic) techniques.
