There, he developed extensive experience managing both routine and complex hip conditions. During his tenure, he held several leadership roles, including Orthopaedic Clinical Lead and Hip Unit Lead. He launched a day-case hip replacement surgery programme and established and chaired a regional multidisciplinary hip meeting, providing a collaborative forum for colleagues to discuss and plan the management of complex surgical cases, including metastatic cancer.
