About
I qualified from the University of Liverpool Medical School in 1990. I undertook the bulk of my postgraduate surgical training in the North West region. I spent a year in Blackpool in 1998, researching the effect of patient information upon surgical outcome. I came to Blackpool at the end of my training scheme in 2001. I was appointed as a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at Blackpool Victoria Hospital in 2002. I retired from clinical practice at the Victoria Hospital in March 2025. I continue to work there as a Medical Examiner. I carry out consultations and surgical treatment at the Spire Fylde Coast Hospital in Blackpool
