He is a graduate of The Royal London Hospital Medical School, University of London. He was also awarded an MSc in Orthopaedic Engineering from Cardiff University.
He has undertaken specialist fellowship training hip & knee surgery, pelvic & acetabular fracture surgery and limb reconstruction.
He regularly manages hip and knee conditions along with sports injuries. He performs above average numbers of hip and knee replacements including Robotic surgery, partial knee replacement and hip resurfacing. He is also a specialist in redo joint replacement surgery. He also performs key-hole surgery and ligament reconstruction for soft tissue and sports injuries.
He forms part of the regional Major Trauma Service. Here he treats severely injured patients and runs the tertiary referral Pelvic and Acetabular fracture service, treating patients referred from other hospitals.
He also works as a member of the Complex Arthroplasty Unit, working in a team of Orthopaedic Consultants dealing with complex joint replacement problems.
