Mr Jai Relwani is a bone and joint surgeon (Orthopaedic surgeon) in Kent with a specialist interest in upper limb surgery. He is a Senior Lecturer at King's College London, and Associate Professor of Surgery at St. George's Medical School.

He is the Clinical Lead for the Shoulder and Elbow service in East Kent.

He trained on the renowned Guys and St Thomas Rotation in London, and went on to complete the (Reading) Shoulder Fellowship before being appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford, and the Kent & Canterbury Hospital. He was the recipient of the prestigious North American Travelling fellowship by the British Shoulder and Elbow Society.

Mr Relwani is passionate about teaching. He teaches on various faculties, including those for advanced keyhole shoulder surgery, the Reading Shoulder Courses. He has several presentations and publications in his field, and has also authored chapters in books on shoulder replacement surgery.

Mr Jai Relwani's expertise include the treatment of bone and joint disorders. He has a specialist interest in shoulder and elbow disorders using the most modern keyhole surgical techniques, surgery for arthritis of the shoulder and elbow, and treatment of allied conditions of the upper limb. He is also trained in the use of shoulder ultrasound for the one-stop diagnosis of shoulder problems and for Ultrasound guided injections into the shoulder and elbow.

With his colleagues, Mr Relwani has set up the Kent Shoulder and Elbow Unit which is based at the East Kent University Hospitals in Ashford and Canterbury, The One Ashford Hospital, Ashford, Kent and the BMI Chaucer Hospital in Canterbury, Kent.
